ALFALIFE IS UNLIKE ANY OTHER

ALA and LA

The actives of Alfalife, alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) and linoleic acid (LA), belong to the Omega-3 ed Omega-6 families, respectively. These are classified as essential fatty acids, as the human body is unable to produce them naturally.

ALA and LA act as precursors — the “foundational” molecules from which all other polyunsaturated fatty acids are derived. They are naturally present in plant-based sources such as walnut kernels, flaxseed oil and seeds, hemp, and chia.

Adequate intake of both fatty acids is vital for supporting cardiovascular and metabolic health, helping to reduce the risk of conditions such as hypertensionatherosclerosistype2 diabetesobesity, immune disorders, and other inflammatory diseases.

However, Western diets are often deficient in Omega Omega 3, particularly alpha-linolenic acid, highlighting the importance of incorporating this essential fatty acid into daily nutrition.

ALFALIFE BENEFITS

Alfalife contributes to mantenance of normal blood cholesterol LDL concentration. [“Alpha-linolenic acid contributes to maintenance of normal blood cholesterol concentrations.” (EFSA Journal 2009; 7(9): 1252)]

Alfalife, furthermore, has a function at cerebral and cognitive level. [Alpha-linolenic acid contributes to brain development and he target population is children aged 3 to 6 years old.” (EFSA Journal 2011;9(4):2050 – EFSA Journal (2009) 1005, 1-9)]

These claims have been approved by EFSA – the European Food Safety Authority, the regulatory body responsible for food safety in Europe.

Alfalife is a range of products targeting:

ALFALIFE IS ESSENTIAL

The Alfalife product line is enriched with essential fatty acids,

which the human body cannot synthesize and therefore must be obtained through diet or supplementation.

Why are ALA and LA considered non-synthesizable?

The human body is an extraordinarily complex system, capable of producing nearly all the molecules necessary for its proper function and maintenance. Yet, some vital compounds cannot be generated internally.

These essential nutrients must be introduced through food or supplementation: vitamin D, some aminoacids, such as argininecysteine, and tyrosine as well as the two essential polyunsatured fatty acids, alpha-linolenic acid and linoleic acid.

ALFALIFE IS PLANT-BASED

The Alfalife product line is of plant origin.

The oil contained in the capsules is extracted from the seeds of a specific variety of hemp.

It has no aftertaste and does not cause reflux.

Our commitment is focused on ensuring ever-higher quality standards and pursuing rigorous scientific evaluations, combining the advancements of modern medicine with the wisdom of nature.
